Rose Cottage From Franklin Mint

Franklin Mint Rose Cottage
This is sort of a new project.  It's a Rose Cottage resin dollhouse from Franklin Mint.  There were just 2,500 made back in the late 1990s and I found this one on Craigs List.  The reason I say it's a "sort of" project is that it is missing a few pieces of the original furniture and there are a few places on the house that need minor repairs.  I'm not sure if I'm going to restore it myself or sell it on eBay.  It's very heavy so it will be a lot of work to ship if it sells.  I got a great deal on it though and I may just play with it for a while and then see if I can sell it for a little profit.  Here is the inside so far.  And lots more pictures on my blog.

  1. How do you repair the green base? I have same cottage with pieces missing in the 'grass'.

    1. I actually didn't try to do it. I ended up selling the dollhouse. Changed my mind about restoring it. I would have used green acrylic paint probably if I had kept it.
